When you do not feel confident (Quick Tips)
Confidence is the defined as the belief in oneself and one's powers or abilities
Confidence is a tricky topic, as it is often written and spoken about as a character trait that comes quite quickly, when in fact it comes over time.
So, this month at Wemne we are going to explore different ways you can grow your confidence
Your Network – keeping up-to-date with our personal and professional networks are a great way of growing our confidence; as when we are around others we can exchange ideas, the highs and the lows, and receive encouragement to keep going
Your Expertise – oftentimes we lack confidence when we do not feel competent in our current skillset. Dedicating time and financial resources to retraining and seeking out career development opportunities is highly worthwhile and will give you a stable foundation to stand upon going forward.
Your Opportunities – our confidence can often take a dip when we have gone after new opportunities and not achieved the results that we hoped for. In this case, it is important to get feedback and review what we did well and where we could improve to hit the mark the next time
Your Determination – determination is key when it comes to achieving any goal. Having a list of the hurdles that you have overcome in the past can fuel you going forward and show you that you have what it takes to make it to the top.
Your Future – vision casting can help us build confidence as it prompts us to think ahead and start taking steps to reach our future goals. Looking back over our goals also serves as a confidence booster by showing you how far you have come.
You’re Next – over the month of March our newsfeeds and inboxes will be filled with examples of wonderful women as we celebrate International Women’s Day. We at Wemne believe that you are a woman who deserves to be celebrated every month and enjoy meeting you at our events.
